ROBIN WOOD

Welcome to my workshop !

My name is Robin VEALE and I am a second generation cabinetmaker of scottish origin.

I took my classes as an apprentice carpenter and cabinetmaker with the Compagnons du Tour de France. L'Ébénisterie Robin Wood is the culmination of my ambitions as a wood lover; This is my craftsman's name, it is the stamp that appears on all my works: carpentry, cabinet making or layout, I design and manufacture unique wooden furniture for you.

From my apprenticeships, I retain a deep respect for the rigor and discipline in my work, learning woodworking by hand tools, as well as by mastering machines and contemporary technology.

Are you looking for a piece of furniture that suits your tastes or to have an old piece of furniture restored? Let's meet to discuss it!

For most of us, furniture has lost its value: we consume it like we do clothes or food and have come to forget the place it holds in our everyday lives. It can embellish the poorest interior designs and open up the possibilities of confined spaces. I am partial to styles that use decoration as a projection of personality onto their environment, and I always aim to allow room for ornament alongside functionality.

Contemporary furniture must be adapted to today’s homes, and a modern designer must make the most from smaller, multifunctional spaces. I also firmly believe in using wood from local and sustainable sources.

  • Toupie

  • Tour à bois

  • Ciseaux à bois et bien plus !

My approach to furniture design is traditional: working to order rather than imprinting a personal style on all of my work. I apply my vision of aesthetics, but I put my skills at the service of your desires of wood arrangement or restoration, in order to produce something to your taste.

Your furniture must represent you!

If in addition, we can work together for the environment and the circular economy, everyone will benefit!
